Lait Mary Souris is a fifty-two year old mouse woman. She is the mother of "Cookie's Monsters" protagonist, Cookie Souris, as well as all of Cookie's six siblings, which includes Fraise Souris.
She is a kind, patient, and understanding woman who works full-time as a PSA at one of Beach City's Senior Care Centers.

Lait is five feet, two inches tall and bears all white fur and brown hair - her hair is dyed, however, according to Cookie Souris. She is described as being noticeably aged, with laugh lines around her mouth and tired-looking eyes.
In keeping with most of the Souris family, she is very curvaceous and does appear younger than she actually is. She holds a chubby build, which bears more strength than her small stature might suggest.

Boo Hag Edit
In "Cookie's Monsters - Boo Hag," Lait is briefly featured by comforting Cookie after her first encounter with Alexandra Salome. In the narrative during this time, it is revealed that Lait allowed Cookie to have some input toward her hormone therapy treatments when she was younger, allowing Cookie to turn out as feminine as she is by her own design.
